Dr. Jordan Schmidt
DPT, OCS - Founder & Physical Therapist
Dr. Schmidt grew up in Auburn, MI and attended Central Michigan University (Fire up Chips!) for both his Bachelor's degree and Doctorate in Physical Therapy. With 12 years of experience in outpatient orthopedics, he became a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 2018.
His interests include Manual Therapy, Dry Needling, pain science, and promoting patient education and self-treatment. When not in the clinic, Dr. Schmidt enjoys golfing, camping, fishing, and exercising.
Dr. Anja Bliss
DPT - Physical Therapist
Dr. Bliss grew up in Eaton Rapids, MI and attended Central Michigan University where she received her Bachelor's Degree and earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Anja joined the Army in 2020 and remains part of the National Guard where she serves as an Executive Officer. She loves the outdoors and enjoys running, biking, and camping. Anja joined HealthSpan PT in January of 2025, and we couldn't be more thrilled to have her on our team!
Lori Unruh, PT, DPT
DPT - Physical Therapist
Lori brings 20 years of clinical experience and an outstanding reputation in the community to our team. A proud graduate of Central Michigan University, she earned both her undergraduate degree and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree there, graduating in 2005. Her commitment to excellence began in the classroom and has continued throughout her career.
Lori has extensive experience treating a wide range of orthopedic conditions and is known for her thorough evaluations, hands-on approach, and individualized care plans. She has a particular passion for helping individuals overcome chronic low back pain and for working with runners of all levels—from recreational joggers to competitive athletes—guiding them back to the activities they love.
Her patients appreciate not only her clinical expertise, but also her approachable nature and genuine investment in their long-term success. When the opportunity arose for Lori to join our team, we were thrilled—her experience, reputation, and dedication to patient-centered care make her an incredible asset to both our practice and the community.
Britnee Pettipas
PTA - Physical Therapist Assistant
Britnee is an incredibly talented PTA with 12 years of experience in orthopedics. Her success comes from her incredible empathy, intelligence, and extensive expertise. She grew up in the Auburn area and graduated from Bay City Western.
Britnee graduated from Delta's PTA program and also earned her massage therapist license. She joined HealthSpan in 2022 and has been an integral part of our business ever since. She enjoys everything outdoors, volleyball, Michigan Football, and of course her beloved Red Wings.
Tiffani
Receptionist
Tiffani is often the first friendly face you'll see when you walk through our doors—and the warm voice you'll hear when you call. Originally from Midland, she brings genuine Midwestern hospitality and an upbeat energy to our front office each day.
Extremely outgoing and naturally welcoming, Tiffani has a gift for making every patient feel comfortable from the moment they arrive. She understands that starting physical therapy can sometimes feel overwhelming, and she goes out of her way to ensure each person feels supported, heard, and at ease.
Outside of the clinic, Tiffani enjoys spending time outdoors, especially riding her side-by-side and making memories with her two kids. Her love for family and adventure shines through in her positive attitude and the care she shows to everyone she meets.
We're lucky to have Tiffani as part of our team—her warmth and energy truly set the tone for the exceptional experience we strive to provide.
